Student Accommodation

There is nothing worse than being at University and having rubbish student accommodation. Accommodation for students varies between Universities, standards can differ hugely from well kept, newly refurbished clean accommodation to unclean, falling down and generally not nice. Universities will obviously not describe the student accommodation on offer as being bad so it is up to you to go check it out for yourself. You can do this by going to open days and taking part in tours. There are also lots of websites which can provide reviews on the accommodation which is on offer.

If you do not want to live in accommodation provided by the University you can always opt for a privately rented house. Lists of these will be available at your University or you can look online for available rooms...there are always plenty going.
